We were really excited about the spring programme, with Lisa Collins making her debut (talking about the maths of animal welfare) and Hugh Hunt with a World War I anniversary talk about how maths helped to combat the Zeppelins. Hugh's talk is part of a special Maths Inspiration in Canterbury themed as the Human Side of Maths, in conjunction with the Q-Step programme to improve maths skills in the social sciences. We also return to Sheffield's famous Crucible Theatre, and this year we plan to include some live snooker.
