We only accept bookings from schools or further education colleges.
VIRTUAL SHOWS
Your booking is only confirmed when we have received your credit card payment, or when we have sent an invoice to you.
THEATRE SHOWS
Once you have made a provisional booking, we generally allow three weeks for you to arrange payment, but if the deadline falls in a school holiday we extend the deadline to one week after the re-start of term. If you do not submit your form and payment before the three week (or otherwise stated) deadline, your provisional booking will be forfeited.
Your booking is only confirmed when either (a) we have received your booking form and payment in the post or (b) when we send an invoice to you. Note that we will automatically invoice four weeks before a show.
For bookings of over 60 student seats, we require you to pay a deposit of 25% of the total ticket cost. This payment is not refundable.
For Theatre shows we can accept payment by cheque or by BACS, but not by credit card. Cheques should be payable to 'Maths Inspiration'. If your school requires an invoice, please let us know as soon as possible.
If, having made a provisional booking you become aware that you will not be able to take up some or all of your seats, we request that you notify us AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, since there may well be other schools on a waiting list who need to be notified.
We do not allocate tickets. Your booking reserves you a fixed number of seats, and your party will be checked against a register when you arrive at the venue.
Once your booking is confirmed (see above), you will be required to pay the full amount unless you qualify for a refund (see below).
VIRTUAL SHOWS
We will accept cancellations and offer full refunds up to one week before a show.
We endeavour to deliver the programme exactly as advertised, However, if for any reason there is a change in the details of the show (eg a change in speakers), a refund will not be made.
These shows are broadcast live. While we strive to minimise technical problems, occasional glitches are almost inevitable, and we cannot guarantee a completely smooth broadcast. We cannot be held responsible for any technical problems at the customer's end, and advise schools to check your equipment and internet access before the show.
In the event of cancellation of a show due to circumstances beyond our control, any refund will be limited to the cost of the booking.
THEATRE SHOWS
Covid: In the event of cancellation of the show due to Covid lockdowns or other circumstances beyond our control, we will refund all schools for the full amount they paid for seats.
Provided you give us at least four weeks' notice before the show, we will refund the price you paid for the seats, up to a maximum of 30 seats
We do sometimes have schools requesting last minute seats for shows that are fully booked. When this happens we might be able to 'buy back' from you any unwanted seats. When we buy back seats, we deduct 10 percent for administration.
We will endeavour to deliver the programme exactly as advertised, However, if for any reason there is a change in the details of the show (eg a change in speakers), a refund will not be made, so long as a show is delivered and lasts for at least 80% of the scheduled duration.
"Really good to have a 'maths trip', taking away the stress of A-level without dumbing down."
