The links between Maths and Shakespeare
Rob Eastaway & Rebecca MacMillan
This is a unique interactive lecture show. We recommend you make it a combined Year 10 trip for English, History and Maths Departments.
Year 9s who have already studied some Shakespeare will enjoy it too.
The show will touch on several maths ideas that link to GCSE including algebraic proof, ratios and fractions, angle measurement, game strategies, arithmetic and Pythagoras – plus quotes from a wide range of Shakespeare plays including Macbeth and Romeo & Juliet.
But remember this is an enrichment lecture show, not a school lesson!
